Bernarda Guzmán Rojas

Homestay Coordinator

Bernarda has extensive experience in tourism and customer service, working in direct contact with international visitors for 9 years, as well as working in marketing and sales.

Now, as the ICDS team Homestay Coordinator, she is experienced in screening and selecting accommodations for ICDS’ program participants, and she looks for loving and caring families for the students. Bernarda is very integrated into the community where the ICDS students share a great part of their free time and enjoys contributing for students and their host families not only to be a “good match”, but also for them to develop a positive relationship so that both parties can learn from the experience.

In her freetime Bernarda is devoted to her family and plants, and also to a very important family member: Scrapy (her dog), that has been also a pet for many of our past students.
