Spring 2021 in Costa Rica

Spring 2021 in Costa Rica

Spring 2021 in Costa Rica

ICDS, jointly with Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, offers students the opportunity to build their own semester according to their interests and academic needs. Choose from a variety of courses, taught in English, related to sustainable development and social justice including topics such as the environment, international relations, sustainable tourism, and human rights.

Throughout the program, students will reflect on their personal experiences, participate in group discussions, and explore themes of sustainability outside of the four walls of the classroom. Through field trips, site visits, and case studies, among other academic activities, the experiential learning component of the courses will provide students with a more comprehensive understanding of sustainable development in Costa Rica.

By participating in ICDS’ program “Spring 2021 in Costa Rica,” students will garner a deeper and more holistic perspective of the Costa Rican institutional fabric and society at large and will be able to share that knowledge and appreciation wherever they go in the future. Our mission is to empower global citizens by fostering cultural awareness and intercultural exchange, so that, together, we can build a sustainable future for all.
